Gloria Dean is a post-op who has gotten thru this (with a fight!) and Dana Tart is currently working on the situation. Don't give up! Maybe Gloria can give you some tips. Guest guest Posted July 21, 2002 Report Share Posted July 21, 2002 Hey guys, I'm still trying to fight this infection. In fact, I just took my last Cipro. It was 10 days worth. Please tell me what you would do if you had a headache (top of head and forehead) so strong that 2 percocets will not even touch the pain. I am losing my hair where the infection is and I can't STAND it anymore. My temp was 99.4 but that was with the tylenol. The doctor that did the surgery is out of town but he has his partner covering for him but I don't even know him! I can't believe anything could be this painful! I feel like I am going to throw up it hurts so bad and going to the hospital tonight would be a waste, it's Sunday. Oh how I Prayed this would heal, I even went to church today with my baseball cap on and tried to cover some of the black and blue with make up. I was Prayed for twice but I can't get rid of this pain guys. Please, give me some advice. I am at my limit. Does this mean the Cipro did not help the Pseudomodas infection and I have to go in for IV's? I can't handle anymore pain and it feels like this infection is spreading farther back to the crown of my head. I am due to see the other surgeon tomorrow at 12:45. Please, give me some advice. If you need to do IV antibiotics they can be done at your home, you don't have to go to the hospital. For some reason in my experience doctors tend to start out with mild meds and work their way up.
