Guest guest
Congratulations, We also have a furry member of our family. She is a three year old boxer named Emma, we got her when she was six weeks old. She is extremely spoiled. She is not allowed in 's room either, so sleeps on the couch with Emma. They have a very close and wonderful relationship. It is also nice having someone to take care of to replace those older ones that don't need as much taking care of now. (I can only speak for myself) Welcome Jake. Tina W., mother of 26, nocf & 18, wcf and Emma, 3nocf(just a cold nose) New dog! Announcing a new member of the Morey family, a one year old yellow lab mix named Jake! He's very cute , wellbehaved and affectionate. It's nice to have a dog again and this one is allowed indoors. I hope does OK with her allergies. He isn't allowed in her room, but he slept with us! I am sure he is well on his way to being spoiled rotten. Well I just wanted to let you all know! I am way behind on email so I may have to delete some. We have our tree up and got some things we ordered from Amazon (yes I went through Milans' site) We have some shopping to do and things to wrap. I guess we won't be having any relatives out this year. love to all, M Mom of Nick age 21 nocf, age 19 wcf, and one new very furry child, Jake age
Guest guest
! Bathe and vacuum the dog at least once a week! I mean it--removes the dog excess hair and dander, the latter being the big allergen; also, get it all its vaccines and use flea and tick medication from the veterinarian as fleas leave de tritus which is allergenic--this from n, who was reared as if a pup, I swear, as my mother raised (for show) Kerry Blue Terriers! Love to you all and good luck! n New dog! Announcing a new member of the Morey family, a one year old yellow lab mix named Jake! He's very cute , wellbehaved and affectionate. Guest guest
Thanks for the advice n. He got a bath today and we are seeing the vet tomorrow. We'll be sure and get him on Advantage or one of those flea control meds. I have never tried to vaccuum a dog but maybe we'll give it a try if he doesn't freak out too bad. love,
Guest guest
, My sister has a golden lab. He's huge. He LOVES to be vacumed. It's funny. It probably feels good. I have two Chihuahua's. They run from from the vacume. Anyway, they might get sucked up the hose. :>) Gale > Thanks for the advice n. He got a bath today and we are seeing the vet tomorrow. Guest guest
Hi Gale, That is funny about the Chihuaha's. We used to have a mini pincher and he would try and fight the vaccuum. He didn't know he was a MINI pincher!! LOL. Jake's (Our dog) vet visit went good. He was pronounced healthy. The vet thinks he's part beagle. He is smaller than a regular lab so I guess that's why. Who knows what he really is, it doesn't matter, we love him anyway, the vet said those are the best kind of dogs, purebreds are inbred and not as smart and have more health problems. My apologies to those who have purebreds!!! love, M Mom of Nick age 21 nocf, age 19 wcf and Jake age 1 very furry.
Guest guest
HI , Sounds good! My 2 are both home for the winter break.(well Ang is always home but.. she's out of school). One thing, I PROMISE I will write your number down in my phone book if you'll send it to me one more time. please send privately along with your address, unless you want it posted on the internet, I am sure mine is out there somewhere anyway, but I try not to post it to lists. It would be nice to get together after Christmas. We are so behind this year, the tree is up but not even decorated!! love, PS Jake is a dear, I'm sure Milan will love him. I am anxious to see how he reacts to small kids.
Guest guest
Purebreads have shorter life spans and more medical problems. Mini Pinchers are SO CUTE! I would love to have one!
