Guest guest Posted December 18, 2003 Report Share Posted December 18, 2003 The PA may be lodged in the sinuses and is dripping down into or onto the throat; maybe an ENT specialist could do a CT scan of her sinuses and a direct culture of them---as I say, just a thought, Good Luck, n Rojas, wcf, mom of 3 ADULTS, youngest wcf, too PA Culture Hey there!Does anyone know why PA in a sputum culture would not be evident but during a deep throat culture evidence of PA appears? Nothing had been said to me about it in previous cultures but during gallbladder removal they did a deep throat.STILL nothing was said until they heard crackles in his lungs.Is there a chance the drs arent looking close enough to bbegin with?And after the iv w/timentin and tobra should i expect the PA to be gone completely?
