Everything in moderation:-) SCD has sometimes fostered bouts of craving for me, the worst being the one is the one that sets me off on a raisin binge, definitely not a good idea; the better one is a periodic red meat craving. A new study says it's OK to have more red meat if accompanied by red wine. (That last bit is strictly for adults on SCD please) Carol F. Guest guest
Michele, That was so cute. I had a good chuckle, something I needed today. Charlene My daughter said something funny this morning. I mentioned to my son that a stomach ache could mean gut bugs are dying & I said they don't go without a fight. My 4.5 yr old daughter said " gut bugs steal our food, right? " I said yes, that's right! She said " Then we have to get the police bugs to come get them! Guest guest
This is a great sign Michele! Keep going and you'll hear more. These kids brains develop it seems overnight on SCD. CALL THE POLICE & we'll all feel better. Jenn & Kali Gut bugs & honey > I've been craving sugar so badly right now that whenever I make a SCD > cookie it's like all I want to eat! Guest guest
I'm climbing the walls looking for sweets; it's a horrible feeling. Because of stress I often give in. Guest guest
Hold out and you'll be surprised of the results everytime. I know it's hard. When I first did SCD with my daughter, it was also difficult. I saw the improvements each time so, it was well worth it. When you feel this way, drink a lot of water. That's what I did. I would feel like that as soon as I got up in the morning. It really was terrible. The Diareah will come shortly if you can hold out and then the cravings will pass. That's when you usually see the good in it all. Sometimes, replacing our bad habits with some good habits helps a little.
