Guest guest
Patti, I just read your post on how your little girl is doing. How exciting!! I am still looking into the Vitamin K2. Please keep sharing how you guys are doing. Did you say you do not use the VSL#3? I still do not know what this is but keep hearing about it. What do you suggest in getting a child prepared to start K2? Thanks, Dana Garrett and SCD 5 months Celiac, Developmental Delays --------------------------------- Cheap Talk? Check out Yahoo! Guest guest
VSL#3 is a probiotic supplement that is NOT legal on SCD. It contains certain bacterial strains that are supposed to be good at degrading the oxalic acid waste (as calcium oxylate crystals are dissolved... the acid has to be eliminated and is irritating to the gut). SCD yogurt works to deal with this, too..... maybe not quite as well, but we are choosing to manage it that way. The best thing for you to do if you want to begin the K protocol is join 's yahoo group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/VitaminK/ All the info and support is over there. Join the list, then read the archived messages.... and the info in the " Files " at the homepage. Go read EVERYTHING first... so you understand why you're doing this and what to expect. You'll be starting very slowly and working up. Vitamin D is critical, too. explains it all over there. Patti Re: Vitamin K2 Patti Patti, I just read your post on how your little girl is doing.
