Okay already!!! I'll be nice, promise.

Its just when you turn 50 something inside of you yells (!!!) Enough is

Enough!!! and it is much harder to be agreeable when you REALLY don't agree.

Flo! I'm blushing! Just Kidding! I agree with you whole-heartedly. I

believe I made the contract with Dr. R and I feel that people who are

upset should have a right to say what they feel, ONCE, then get on

with their life and leave us happy mgbers to ours!

confrontation. I love a rip snorting argument. But what's the point

here and what's the prize? This pissing contest is an exercise in

futility. This pissing contest will never end if we don't end it NOW

and get back to the business of supporting each other. People who are

interested in destroying Dr. Rutledge and " saving lives " will never

give up. These people will not be swayed. There is no point in

arguing with them. It is fruitless.

Dr. Rutledge. Just tell them that you understand their concern and

that medical questions are posed to Dr. Rutledge or that most

questions can be answered by checking the clos net site. Dr. Rutledge

can then make a decision whether or not to answer a medical question.

If you have any of Dr. R's posts, such as the one that just came

through, post it. He is the medical expert we hired. Let's let him do

his job. Our job is support..supporting each other..supporting those

of us who have had the surgery or who have come to the decision that

we want THIS surgery or whatever other surgery someone wants to have.

There is nothing they can say that will shake my faith in this

surgery. They will never be convinced that MGB is anything but the

worst. Why would I even want to shake their faith? Who cares what

they think? So what? It doesn't matter and it won't matter 10

years from now. So let's just quit clogging up the list with

explaining, defending, arguing and anything but supporting each other.

the best. But it's no skin off my nose if they choose something

different. I chose a Dr., I asked him what he could do for me, he

told me, I liked what I heard, I believed in his competence, I had

the surgery, I'm happy, I'm losing weight...but why would I spend my

time arguing with folks who for whatever reason are pissed off at

him. My agenda was my health. Their's is convincing us that our Dr.

is a liar and a cheat. He ain't. We know it. Who cares what they

think?

You know Flo, I really didn't understand my mother when she was going through

this, thought she was really loosing her mind. Now, it seems as though everyone

else around me are loosing theirs. LOL

Thanx for your words.

Trudy, I am ready to turn 58. I understand. I find that naughty words help to

release tension. So I use them liberally. Nothing worse than an old lady with a

dirty mouth, eh?

Flo in land who needs soap in her mouth
