Ins Appeal and not happy with my band results?

Hi all - Two questions for the group -

1- I just finished 2 months of treatment with the band, and I am not very

impressed with the results (basically, his head is still very flat!) When I

complained, the office said they will rais my complaints to corporate. I had to

pay cash for my first band; I assume I will have to pay for a second band (I was

not told a second band would be needed at all, given we started him so young!)

Has anyone ever had this happen and is there a way for the office to cover the

expenses, given they misdiagnosed his needs?

2- Re: Insurance - I am going to appeal a " no " for coverage from United

Healthcare. Anyone out there appeal and win with United?

Thank you for everything!!!

Refresh my memory:

Which band did you get and where did you go? How old is your little one? How severe was and is the plagio or brachy? How much improvement did you get? What was the misdiagnosis?
