The recipe for coconut milk is on www.pecanbread.com, in the " recipes " section.

You start with dried, shredded, unsweetened coconut, usually found in a health

food store/section.

Making yogurt seems intimidating at first..... I know I felt the same way the

first few times. Now, I could make it in my sleep!

Go to www.pecanbread.com and click the " goat yogurt " link..... we have a

pictoral guide to making yogurt that *might* help a little. I am the one who

took the photos.... and Kathy McNamara generously donated her kitchen, pots,

pans, goat milk, starter.... and her lovely hands, for demonstration purposes.

:-)

If you live anywhere near Vancouver, Washington (or Portland, Oregon), I'll run

right over and help you make a batch. ;-)

eg how do you make cocnut milk? I have seen coconuts in the store but

have no idea what to do with them to make them edible.

I am also

thinking of trying nut yoghurt, but since I have never made yoghurt

before, the whole process scares me.

Hi everyone, new here

A question about the making of your own coconut milk. Is it impossible

to use canned? Less risk of additives than for example juices etc. Or

is there? I think it only contains coconut, water.

Ok, if I have to, how? Do I buy the stone hard nuts and crash with an

axe or can I use the rasped coconut thats possible to get everywhere?

(and mix with water for quite some time I guess?)

When to introduce it? Does is go under nut milk (stage 2) although its

not a nut?

Regards from Lotta (with daughter 5 yrs ASD and littlebrother diarrea.

whole family on SCD since a couple of days.)

I make coconut milk w/ the new milk machine sold by digestive wellness. It's a

dream - it does a great job in just seconds!
