Guest guest
I'm not sure if corn oil is legal. Anyone? Mayb the spices are hard on their system. I'm particularly thinking things like cinamon. I don't think that you're supposed to use spices on intro. That's my initial thought, but someone else can chime in with better thoughts, I'm sure. Personally, I would probably do intro for just a day or two with very plain foods. Then, start with herbs before spices for seasonings. Meleah scd 05/06 iel 3.5yrs. asd, Ethan 5yrs., Mark 18mths., both nt Advice please, re-do the intro diet? Hi, I would like to ask you if you think there is reason for us to DO THE INTRO AGAIN for two days? This because we got corn oil, cinnamon, cardemum, and herb spices ( " clean " , dry) during the four days intro. We're now about day 13 scd and taken off the bananas since a couple of days, because childrens pooh got so wet when we introduced them. Pooh has not tightened up after 3 days without banana. (we now only eat oil, spices, honey and zuccini besides the intro things.) Is it possible to start with the spices, oils after the intro or should we wait longer? Please let me know if you think it would be a good idea to start all over, Lotta, family (two kids) scd day 13, daughter asd.

You can use salt in the chicken soup. Carol F. SCD 6 years, celiac

If things are still not firmed up after redoing the intro you may want to wait a while longer on the spices. When things are better introduce the spices one at a time. If still having loose stools or diarrhea hold off on oils and fats because they are harder to digest. Cinnamon may be easier to digest than cardamom. The cardamom should be ground fine when you try it. Which herbs are you trying? Make sure the zucchini is peeled and cooked at first.
