Guest guest Posted November 16, 2006 Report Share Posted November 16, 2006 Hello all! My name is Lana and I am an avid listgoer. (Hi to all those who share my other lists!) I am GFCF, have been for at least 6 months now. I was YF the entire time until recently, when I started being more concerned with my weight than yeast. Biiiiiiiigggg mistake. While I gained about 8 lbs in practically no time, I've already lost half of it due to a bout of what I figure must be yeast. I feel disoriented, overstuffed (even though I haven't eaten today), gassy and just plain blah. I remember this feeling from before I went YF. I've been considering going SCD for a while, but nothing really convinced me to do it until now. I haven't felt this bad in months! To top it off, being GFCF resulted in me eating a lot of high oxalate grains, so I am now going LOD at the same time. My questions: What do you eat for " sick food " ? I can't have toast with butter, and with rice being so starchy... I'm kind of at a loss. The only thing I can get myself to eat is sauerkraut. Ideas? Are there any combined SCD/LOD food lists? I have found very few, and they arn't very detailed. (I don't mind if the lists contain gluten and casein containing items, as I am now used to GFCF.) Is there anything I can do to alleviate the symptoms I am experiencing? I'm definately going to be changing my diet, but I would like to function until I have done that successfully...
