Guest guest
OK, we know she's not all there -- but are the opinions from the doctors on the web site who did not like Dr. R's surgery for real or did she make those up?
Guest guest
I'm sure others, including Dr. R, will respond but I wanted to say that I took the case histories and procedural info (including the negatives on the other site) to several non-bariatric surgeons. They all said the procedure appeared very safe. They also all were not surprised that other bariatric surgeons would be critical as it is not the procedure they are currently doing. They indicated they wouldn't place much validity on the opinion of other bariatric surgeons who are doing different types of procedures because of the competitive aspect. For myself, I feel comfortable that several good general surgeons feel alright with Dr. R's procedure. In any event, everyone has to decide for themselves what they are comfortable with. in Atlanta -- In MiniGastricBypass (AT) egroups (DOT) com, K911@a... wrote: > OK, we know she's not all there -- but are the opinions from the doctors on > the web site who did not like Dr. R's surgery for real or did she make those > up? Guest guest
Hello Dr. Rutledge, Obviously you think that is unbalanced. It couldn't have anything to do with her concern for the long term health of others like her who have had your procedure or those who are still post-op. It must be that the surgeons at http://www.mini-gastricbypass.com/ are also unbalanced because they are stating the same medical statistics as is. Do you have any dirt on them. Perhaps some web page links or something? Why don't you just learn how to do the RNY and stop the controversy? > > > I also got the same one. Guest guest
Dr R - Please don't learn the RNY - which I'm sure you already could do. Those of us who chose a more progressive approach are happy with things the way they are - and for those of you who are not - please feel free to look elsewhere for your medical care! We are all after all free to choose aren't we? on Surgery - TOMORROW P.S. Can we all get back to the business at hand which is the support of each other in our quest or after our quest for weight loss and stop the name calling of ANYONE? > > > > I also got the same one. Guest guest
DUH When you are talking about your LIFE, what's 20 minutes vs. 2 hours or overnight vs. 2 days?
