here is the list of foods my son has to avoid due to delayed

allergic reactions for 6 weeks and the list of foods believed to be

safe for now. not all of these foods are SCD legal so i was

wondering if somebody can tell me which ones i should eliminate off

both of these lists. i will be slowly reintroducing the foods on the

avoid list so i want to make sure i don't accidently use something

that is not scd legal. with such a limited list of SAFE foods i am

going to have a hard time coming up with different foods for my 2

1/2 yr old to try. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. the

only thing my son likes is applesauce so i can hide a few things

inside that. it doesn't say wether he can safely eat cheese or

yogurt in the next 6 wks.

cabbage, cashew, cauliflower, celery, cherry, chili pepper,

lemon, lettuce, lia bean, lobster, millet, mushroom, mustard, oat,

olive, oregano, peach, peanut, pineapple, pinto bean, pumpkin, red

pepper, rice, safflower, scallops, sesame, shrimp, sole, soybean,

I think you have a lot to work with. I've got to get to a meeting, but I'll

write more later tonight.

Not SCD legal in any case:

Oat, wheat, sweet potato, brewers yeast, rye, white potato, benzoic acid,?

milk, ( liquid milk) barley, gluten,

> These foods are believed to be SAFE:

Foods on here that are not legal:

baker's yeast, cocoa, corn, cottonseed,

hops, lia bean? millet, oat, rice, soybean,

sugar cane, aspartame, buckwheat, carob,

A cola drink sweetened with saccharine is permitted and a very occasional diet

cola.

Hope I didn't miss any.

Clarify SCD to the doctor and explain that you want to devise a list that will

allow you to

continue on SCD. Also tell your doctor how sensitivities to many foods often

diminishe or

disappear as healing progresses.

Hope this helps.
