Oh Blue what cute dog names! I thought I was going to laugh and then cry. My Dad wouldn't cuss around us kids so he always said Oh Fittle Sticks! :o)

Thanks for giving me a laugh! They are cute names and wish I would have thought of them!

Lots of love

Glenda

.........................................................................................................We also "puppy sit" every day. It is fun to see the goofy stuff they do! Our oldest "grand dog" is a Rot / Shep named "Fittles." We call him a Rotten Shepherd. His "partner-in-crime" is a two year old red Golden Retriever named "Sticks" (Sticks of Dynamite on his papers) Fittles eats rose bushes while Sticks would rather have a few petunias.Just to let you know what's new with me on the subject of RP.... I feel like cRaP! Have a nice day! : )blueour Retrieverbrings backmemories... old shoes, old balls, rocks, bones etc.

Glenda,

You're right! That's where the names come from. We lived next

door! Small World!

No, really, the story is that our son Andy was saying " fittle

sticks " on the job a lot. His friend got a kick out of it and

sometimes called Andy " Fittle Sticks. " When Andy got his

Rot/Shep puppy, the name fit. So he was Fittles.

The next year our daughter-in-law Stef added the Retriever to the

family. The name Sticks just fits. He loves sticks! rocks! dirt

clods! anything you might be persuaded to toss. He will try to

retrieve soap bubbles! So now you and the world know the story.

Oh, by the way RP SUCKS!!! sucks!! sucks!

Is there an echo in here?

BLUE!!! blue!! blue!

UPDATE:

Sticks is having his " manhood " altered today. We don't think he

will have trouble, but it's a little hard on the dog after puppy

stage. He just had his 2nd birthday.

Happy Birthday! Sticks. Hope you had a BALL (or two!) ; )

Blue, Blue, Blue, how do you do.

I have a 2 1/2 yr old Golden, she is so fuuny, they have a personalty of their own, Princess is my 5 th Golden and they sure make a great house dog instead of an out door. Thsy becaome a super watch dog too. She was spaded at 9 mos and I had her du clawes removed cuz they use their front feet so much. I get stuffed toys at yard sales, the ones that are made of silky material, doesn't collest the hair.

Did you make him a doggie cake? I do leave candles of their cakes, they might eat them. LOL

Hope you have a great weekend and take care. I agree that RP sucks or any other disease!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love ya

Sally
