Sharon, fatigue is definitely a part of RP. I think

it can be exacerbated by some of the meds, when I am

on my regular dose of 5mg pred my knees, hips,

fingers, neck and lower back all hurt to some degree,

including at night. Right now because I am on 20 mg

due to the recent flare all those nagging pain s have

gone and my energy levels are much higher!!! Mind you

it's partly fake!!! Also not sleeping well, but pred

does give you a false sense of wellbeing. I am sure

there is overlap however and some of it is from the

fibromyalgia.

I am really sympathetic about the eyes though. Every

time I read a post about eye problems I rush off and

start putting my drops in again! I was dx with dry

eyes long before I started having rp problems, so I

have been putting lubricating drops in for quite a

while, desperately hoping it will ward off problems

for longer. Both my parents developed cataracts and

my father had glaucoma and my sister had to have a

corneal transplant, healthy eyes don't seem to be a

big part of our family!! You are obviously doing all

you can by checking with the specialist. I hope it

improves. Take care, love Liz
