Guest guest
Sharon, I just don't understand how a hospital can do this either. But then again,I don't understand a lot of things. LOL Seems like the medical profession is falling apart at times. If you are in a slump, at least enjoy it. Grab a good book and just veg out. I'm going to get my hair cut today, which it badly needs. LOL I feel like a dust mop. I have had straight hair for YEARS. I started on the plaquenil and now I have a curly mop. Don't know what to do with it. LOL So if you want to save on permanents, just take some plaquenil. LOL Think I'll stop at the book store if i have time today. Have a list of many books to get. LOL Maybe I had better wait til I pay my bills. LOL Hope you have a restful day. Don't worry, the Remicade will be there on time. hugs & prayers
Guest guest
Hi Marilyn, maybe we can slump together! Or, that might not be such a good idea. I was slumping already then the hospital just called to tell me that they are out of Remicade and don't know if they will have more in time for my infusion on Friday. Geesh! How can a hospital allow themselves to run out of a medication that people are depending on? Anyway, hope your slump ends soon! It is not a fun place to be. Guest guest
Hi Marilyn Tami sounds like my dog lacy, just keeping up with her is a full time job. She is so fast she runs in the wall when trying to go around the corner. I keep telling my husband that dog is warped in the head. Bet Rambo gets tired that is a hard job holding down the couch. Believe me I know, I've tried it. It is so cold here today it feels like winter again. only in the 40's brrrrrrrr. I would love to see some warm weather. Next weekend is memorial day so I hope is nice then. We usually go camping and to a big flea market they have at the camp grounds during the holiday. But it sounds like your weather is better than ours. Did you finally get over your cough that ;you had. I guess my Rp is kind of behaving right now. Just the joints hurt. But i think thats old age. take care dawn marilynkayk wrote: Hi,It was good to see your message. How are you doing? Is the RP behaving for you? The kitties are doing OK. That Tami is a fart in a whirl wind though. She has finally learned how to climb the chain link fence so there's no keeping her at home anymore. One nice thing, she loves to chase bugs, and eat them, so she's taking care of that problem for us. LOL. Rambo is doing OK. Course he's 16 years old and he doesn't do much anymore. He does have a full time job, holding down the sofa.Weather is finally improving out here. We've had a couple nice days and the garden is slowing looking better.Love, MarilynDISCLAIMER!!WE ARE NOT MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS, THEREFORE ANY INFORMATION THAT IS RECEIVED HERE IS FROM EXPERIENCE ONLY. Guest guest
If I hear anything else at all, I will pass it on ASAP. I imagine Glenda will be back on line with the latest news as soon as she hears anything new. I think we are probably all giving a big sigh of relief about now. This is such good news. Take care, Marilyn, and let us all know when our next exercise money is due. Love, squeek --- marilynkayk wrote: > Thanks so much for the update on . Having an animal put down is so hard, but sometimes it is the only choice. Hope your sister starts feeling better soon. We are waiting for the report on a growth that was taken off my sisters back last week. The surgeon seemed really concerned, so that has us a bit antsy. You take care! Guest guest
Yeah, my sister just called me and it was not cancer! They did tell her to see a dermatologist and have any other spots that she has looked at, just to be on the safe side. I feel like a brick just got taken off my shoulders. Thanks for caring. Guest guest
Marilyn, glad to hear the good news about Rambo. Wish I was there to eat one of your lemon bars. Ummmmm!!! Can you tell I'm hungry? Had my coumadin checked yesterday and it is just fine. But my CBC came back really low and they had me go in today for another test to see if it comes back the same. Don't think there is any place else to poke me. LOL Feeling out of sorts today so going to take a short nap and see if I can get back to feeling as good as I did. Am really short of breathe and think I just need to rest. I'll be dreaming of eating all your yummy food. You take care and know I'm thinking of you. hugs

Guest guest
Marilyn, so good to see you posting again. So sorry that you have been sick. boy, you have had it for some time huh? Hope you are on the mend soon and for good. We just ALL have to stop this and get well again. Yes, it makes perfect sense to me about the immune suppressants. Thanks for sharing that. Is it almost time for the exercise money again? Boy I can't keep track of time any more. It just seems to fly by. You take care an dI hope you have a great weekend. hugs We discussed this business about catching infections while on metho and pred. and he felt that treating the RP with immune suppressants can perhaps make a person more vulnerable to catching things, but that it is much worse to have the auto immune disease and not treat it because that weakens the immune system much more and can make it harder to get over infections. Does this make sense? It did when he was expaining it to me, but it's hard for me to remember just how he worded it.
Guest guest
Marilyn, I have had REALLY weak arms since I was dx with fibro. I was so bad for years that I couldn't even blow dry my hair or raise my arms over my head and keep them there for 15 seconds. We had to rearrange my kitchen so I didn't have to lift plates and bowls out of a cupboard that was over my head. I am somewhat better since I have started taking Neurontin, but I still have a problem. I am doing weights now ( One pounders) LOL and maybe that is helping too. My legs are weak but not like my arms. I had to drasticly change my lifestyle 10 years ago and am still not use to having to ask for any help. LOL That's the stubborness showing it's face. I hope you get to feeling better soon. I just know you will be able to cut back those roses when the time comes. My winter flowers are doing great and it looks so nice to have color in the winter. My winter veggie garden is another story....Not doing so well.. LOL Know I'm thinking of you. hugs Has anyone out there on the list had trouble with their arms being really weak?
