Hi Glenda, and everyone,

One post from me this morning also. I'm tired and I

have a full day of work planned on the house

again...what else is new?

Glenda, so glad that Mike got a good report from the

cardiologist. That must make you breathe a bit

easier. If you find a good PCP, let us know. Jim is

looking for a new one too. I think they are in short

supply around here. My older sister is looking for

one too! Her's just disappeared and no one will say

if he is coming back, where he's gone...just nothing.

My infusion got pushed back yesterday from 9 a.m. to 3

p.m. The nurses said it was the busiest morning they

had ever had in short stay. They actually wanted to

reschedule me for next week, but I insisted on having

it yesterday. August has been the pits for me...lots

of pain and flaring, and I didn't think it was wise to

wait. Plus, I am seeing my rheumy on Wed and I want

to know if this stuff is going to work or not.

Infusion itself went well, but I am not feeling any

effect. My right ear hurt badly enough to disturb my

sleep all night. At least it doesn't feel so swollen

inside that it is making me dizzy like yesterday

morning. I'm fairly discouraged about Remicade right

now. Tired of being in pain constantly again! Maybe

I'm just working too hard, but shouldn't that just

cause more fatigue instead of more pain and flares?

Jim went to the doctor yesterday because his thumb is

all swollen and sore. They did x-rays and the doctor

said he thinks it is some kind of a cyst inside the

thumb, but he wanted the radiologist to look at it.

They aren't doing anything about it unless it gets

worse! I thought they might do a needle aspiration

for a cyst, but they're not. His thumb is at least

two times the size of the other one right now.

Doctors!! Took to his doctor on Thursday

and he () is going to be on a proton-pump

inhibitor for at least six months due to his reflux

and the horrible family history. I am tired of

doctors!

Well, I am off to start filling nail holes, then

sanding them down.....doing the laundry and all that

good stuff.

Oh, , did you have another CBC, and was this

one normal? Let us know.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I will just so

long as it stays cool here. Glenda, I think we really

need to think about that rain dance!

Squeek, I'm so sorry to hear that you are in so much pain. I truly hope

that the Remicade kicks in and starts doing it's job. Sounds like you need

some rest girl. PLEASE get some and don't work all weekend.

Glenda, I'm glad you have a few days off. You sure need it.. YOu need to

rest too. Glad to hear about the good news for Mike. Now just make sure he

keeps his appt when you get one. LOL Gosh I miss you, wish I could turn back

time just for this weekend and be with everyone.

Glad to see some of you posting that haven't been. Welcome to the new

members that I haven't welcomed yet. Please feel free to jump in and ask all

the questions you want.

We are " grand puppy " sitting this weekend. a 10 week old rot/ shep mix. Her

name is Madeline and we call her Maddie. She is being a little darling. ( so

far LOL) and Makeila are coming over later and then they are going

to the Circus. Rich and i will just be lazy and enjoy the weekend. It will

be over 100 degrees here this weekend so think I'll stay inside.

I didn't get the results from my CBC yet but was told to call on Tues. LOL I

feel really beat up for some reason and plan on just resting this weekend.

Marilyn, sure wish I had some of those goodies. Peach pie is one of my

favorites. And the PB pie sounds great too. ( sorry Heidi) LOL
