Never hurts to know someone, anyone connected with the medical field. I am going to see if there is anyone at the University of Florida here since it is connected to Shands Hospital and see what they can do. However, I will say that I have not run into anyone here in this area in the field of medician who doesn't know something about RP. They did the biopsy Friday so I don't have the results. Is that test conclusive? Anyone know? A couple of months ago I had severe swelling in my left ear, then my right ear, then my nose. My left ear cleared up, my right ear got worse, my nose cleared up and then my left ear got real bad. My nose and right ear are completely cleared up and my left ear is raging. It kept me up most of the night and I am staying home today. I'll write more when I know more. I'm glad I found you. I still didn't get the display boxes, so I'm sending them off without them. Yes, all I need is the name of the dr and the city ( or hospital etc). We would just like to know when we get new members or donations where they heard about us and then we can make sure that those places keep stocked up. I don't know if I'll be at chat tomorrow or not. I will give it my best. It's hard to believe that summer is almost over. I know the kids start school here on Aug 15. Boy that sure seems early. I know there is so much to read about fibro. Just take your time and do it at an easy pace. Once you can understand a disease, for some reason it makes dealing with it alot easier. I have gained 50 pounds too. I can't seem to lose it, but I know that once I can get into a reg exercise program, it should make it alot easier. I must also learn to not eat the foods that keep calling my name. LOL You take care and know I'm thinking of you. What would we do without them? Now Come on everyone that is not a member of this wonderful foundation please send you 15.00 yearly contribution in so that we can continue to have brochures published and give money to research we want a cure for us all.
