Guest guest
I really think that this therapy has some merit to it. Previously I thought it was new age, fru-fru, hippie crap. But I have crossed over. My chiropractor recommended it, She treated her son's hematoma via CST. I had the rare opportunity to see a practitioner that is very renowned. She is based out of Pennsylvania and travels to Chicago and San Diego a few times a year. I only saw her one time and now 2 weeks later I can feel the difference when I glide my hand over the flat spot. I treated my son with the DOC Band. We started in the mild/moderate category and measured within normal limits at graduation. But the right underside of his head was still flat. It was only visible from certain angles and the exit photo study didn't really exemplify it. I Digress *sigh*. I really recommend doing this while banding, not just one or the other. I read someone's post two days ago that said they only expected a 50% correction because of the age and severity, and that made me so sad. I want to advocate this treatment to these mothers. I am arranging to have my younger brother flown down from Montana to San Diego to see her next time she is in town. He was in an accident (30 foot fall) last November and suffered a bruised spinal cord and crushed vertebrae. He is paralyzed from the waist down with some feeling in left hamstring. Since his spinal cord was not severed we hope to gain some functionality through CST and Physical Therapy. That was my soapbox rant. Thanks for listening!
