Is there an ingredient missing? There doesn't seem to be enough

Condensaded milk is pure sugar with a tiny portion of milk, :-)

n when you boil sweetened condensed milk like that for that long you get

good old fashioned caramel becuse you caramelized the sugar in the can

.. There is

an outland

ishly sweet recipe that comes from Spain and is found in Mexico and Central

and South America; one takes a large can of condensed milk, coveres it well

with water, and boils it gently for one hour to one and one-half hours,

removes

the ends of the can, pushes it out and slices it--living death to the teeth!
