Guest guest
What would be illegal in the other flavors I purchase from DW? They told me they're only selling specific flavors that are legal, and they do look fine to me: Cinnamon Roll - Dates, Walnuts, Almonds, Raisins, Cashews, Cinnamon Cashew Cookie - Cashews, Dates Ginger Snap - Dates, Almonds, Pecans, Ginger, Cinnamon, Cloves carolfrilegh wrote: Whole Foods was sampling Larbars the other day and I looked at the ingredients. The only one that seemed OK for me was the Pecan Pie which had only dates, pecans and almonds. Most of the others contained some illegal ingredients. I didn't like the taste and am able to make these bars at home with my Omega 8002 Juicer food cone. Carol F. SCD 6 years, celiac --------------------------------- Stay in the know. Guest guest
I use them for my daughter who hates the concept of home made food. I do not give them to my son who is super compliant since he is very happy with the home made products. My son loves to bake his own cookies and it is a great social activity. Homemade food does taste better. However, the products from Digestive Wellness do taste better than the ready made GFCF products and most supermarket cookies. Digestive Wellness has a new manager and she is very eager to make sure that the products comply with SCD.
