Guest guest
I am very nervous b/c of the political climate in Venezuela, but a really asked to go this year. I am going to make an extra effort to meet the doctor, as you may remember I have some contact with CF parents in Venezuela, in fact I am taking some Tobi to a little boy, there. Thank you so much for all the good vibes, we surely need them. > > When I was growing up, we always did most of our present opening on > Christmas eve. Guest guest
When are you leaving. i will try to find her name at the office to day in my conf. folder. I have a picture of us all at a wonderful dinner & TANGO stage show. Big in Buenos Aires. 45 of us went in a big bus. She stayed with Lois & I a great deal . We took her in our cab each day to the other hotel the conf. was in. Yes, the politics were really bad a couple years ago . One of our employees is from there. In fact her ex-husband is a airline attendant for US Air & she was going to go BUT , her brothers had already gotten there & were having trouble getting their passports back to get home. One was from England & the other the states. She didn't go , But the others there were fine & afterwards she was sorry she hadn't gone . You will be fine. I think most of the TOURIST have it fine .They need the business---hehe. ANYWAY. That is great. I have sent things there thru others also. It is tough for them in many cases. You are a doll to help. let me know if I can ever be of help . remind Gladys (if you ever catch up with her) to write me if I can help her. I do several docs in Ecuador & Argentina & Mexico , Chili, & Brazil....Some others too, but I cant remember them now.-SOoooooooooooooAs I said before. Take care HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME. LOVE & HUGS, GrandmomBEV Re: Christmas custom/Bev I am very nervous b/c of the political climate in Venezuela, but a really asked to go this year. Guest guest
That is o.k. if you cant. It is a busy time for you. I do know whatever they call their CF -Foundation, Association, -She was the head of it back then. She is a Pediatrician. We spotted her once with they had the big mud slides working on some children that had been pulled out & it was on TV. She is a fine person.
