I am off to a wedding tonight at the Four Seasons, our very best hotel in Toronto. I have looked forward to it and yet dreaded it for months. I just phoned the catering chef and he was wonderful about providing me with a suitable meal. Otherwise I would have had to push course after course aside and been hungry, depressed and embarrassed. Almost every original item contained soy or other illegals. The appetizer was adzuki beans, the salad " Guacamole. (no avocado allowed for latex allergy) The salmon was glazed with soy and the vegetable stir fry had several illegals. So I will be having Squash Soup which has cream but no thickeners. I am usually OK with cream adding some lacteeze drops. baked salmon with lemon juice mixed green salad with olive oil broccoli and cauliflower fruit and cheese for dessert The chef was very interested in our diet.
