I am usually the brave soldier going in to battle before a surgery.

When I was single with no children, I thought nothing of it...go to

sleep, wake up with some pain, leave hospital and get better. But

since having a husband and child relying on me, I do tend to worry

more about things everytime i've had to have surgery.

I usually don't start to worry until a couple of days before i'm due

to go in. But I keep it all to myself especially with my husband's

lack of faith in doctors, I don't like to let him know how much it

scares me that something will go wrong..then I get a diatribe from

him about not having it done etc...

And I never sleep the night before..I usually have to leave by 5am

to get to the hospital which means being up by 4am anyway, and

besides, I get to have a good sleep while my family worry about me

*L*

Good luck and my thoughts and prayers will be with you..
