Guest guest
Hey , In speaking with Barbara last week, I also learned that there is a weight limit to the people he will do at . I too am a self-pay and was looking for ways to cut costs. I am 5 " 11 " , 325lbs, and BMI 45. Barbara said , after reviewing my file with the doc, that my weight exceeded the limit of folks they do at . Just thought you other self pays may want to know that there are restrictions there besides being able to go home that evening. Guest guest
, I am a self-pay too and I asked Dr. R during clinic about vs. Durham. He said that he not only uses your weight, but your co- morbidities, as a determining factor. does not have the same type of trauma equipment that Durham has. But he said he felt totally comfortable at either place. in Atlanta -- In MiniGastricBypass (AT) egroups (DOT) com, " Elliott Stern " <deslv@u...> wrote: > Hey Folks, > > I want to thank all of you for your kinds words of support and advice. > > I just got off the phone with the Center and K.C. > there was very kind. > > She did tell me that the flat rate was $7,000.00 with no additional > deposit and that if I did not stay overnight that the cost is > $6,514.00.
