Hey ,

In speaking with Barbara last week, I also learned that there is a

weight limit to the people he will do at . I too am a self-pay

and was looking for ways to cut costs. I am 5 " 11 " , 325lbs, and BMI

45. Barbara said , after reviewing my file with the doc, that my

weight exceeded the limit of folks they do at . Just thought

you other self pays may want to know that there are restrictions

there besides being able to go home that evening.

Dear ,

I was having a brain fart day so I didn't ask her the criteria. I

only know that at 5 " 11 " , 325 lbs, BMI 45, I exceeded the weight

critera. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

,

I am a self-pay too and I asked Dr. R during clinic about vs.

Durham. He said that he not only uses your weight, but your co-

morbidities, as a determining factor. does not have the same

type of trauma equipment that Durham has. But he said he felt totally

comfortable at either place.
