Guest guest
Hi all. Been very long since I've posted. I've still not been diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis but it still seems the only possibility they've come up with and I am still ill and unable to put on weight. I've been told I " could " have chronic pancreatitis and in living with this, quite miserably at times, for the past year and a half or so I have many questions in thinking that I might have to try to live with this for the rest of my life. I'm wondering what the possibility of a " normal " and healthy pregnancy is for someone with chronic pancreatitis. I can't imagine being able to handle it at the point I'm at now but would be disappointed to know that it might not be possible. And I don't relish the idea of becoming pregnant only to have it make me and/or my baby very ill. Also, in general, is it possible to live as long as others when you have CP? Might sound like a stupid question but doctors don't tell me much since they haven't diagnosed me so they don't want to scare me and what I read online is so grim. Any input you can give would be much appreciated. Thanks so much. Sincerely,
