Michele,

The best thing to do to answer your questions is to go to www.pecanbread.com and

look under food preparation. There is a guideline as to when to start to add

foods. Even cooked fruits right will be too soon. I still don't eat a whole lot

of fruit. You need to cook the fruit and vegetables until they are soft so that

the fiber is broken down and therefore easier to digest.

I just want to make sure I have this correct - all fruits should be

cooked (except banana), but for how long?

My ASD son doesn't eat any fruits right now; they give him terrible

yeast issues & diahrea. Will cooked fruits be easier on him & can he

have them right after the intro diet?

How soon is it okay to introduce the yogurt into the diet for those of

us with dairy issues (we're dairy free right now)? I may try it with

raw goat's milk first. (We'll have to do the intro diet dairy free).

How soon is it okay to introduce foods made with almond flour after

the intro diet? Can I also use coconut flour & can it be used the same

way as the almond flour in the recipes? That would give me more

options (my daughter cannot have any other nuts).

Thanks again,

Michele

Hi Michele,

After the intro when symptoms start to clear, you could probably try a

little coconut flour and see if it is tolerated. If still having

diarrhea or loose stool I'd wait a while.
