Ken,

All the other Men and a few ladies (giggle) had to shave their beards

too! I think every one of them looked absolutely wonderful and you will to.

This is a fresh start just imagine a new beard with that new slender body you

will be having soon. :) You won't even miss it.

You will be to busy missing food. For a short while!

LOL, I know the feeling Ken. My Surgery in Tomorrow! and I sit here at my desk

looking at my reflection in the computer of my beard.

This will be the first time I have ever shaved it off.

I'm waiting till my shower tonight, hibiclins or not, I'm waiting till the last

minute.

I'm on the launching pad.

Hey Ken,

don't worry be happy!!! The good news about beards is they grow back and man

pretty darn quick. If you really think you will feel naked then wait till the

last minute. But you can think of it as your first step to the new you. Hugs

Oh gosh, Ken...... my dh shaved his goatee recently and I about smacked him!

I love facial hair on a guy... tall, dark, and handsome? ::sigh:: :o)

Sorry you have to shave it... but take heart, it will grow back... and on a

slimmer 'mug', as well! <g>

Good idea! I'd have never thought of that.

Ken

I love beards. My hubby had to shave his beard in order to wear some

safety equipment required on the job. He is very bald so the beard

offset the baldness. He is also morbidly obese so it also hid some of

his chins. I love him anyway. I think you should shave now, just in

case the hibicleans you have to use the night before would irrate the

newly exposed skin.

Ken,

I would just wait and shave it the night before. Give

you something to do while you are waiting. hehe

Besides, when you get back everyone will say, " WOW you

look different already! " hehehe

You shave your beard and I will shave my legs, LOL

Dear Ken,

PUUHLEEEZE!!! I'd shave my head if it meant that I could go into that

operating room. :0) Just think of the absence of the beard as the initial

step in the " new you " . If you have had the beard for 30 years how do you

know the mug underneath is still ugly?

Awwwwwwww. I say shave it now and go for the plucked chicken look Ken! How's

that

for MY usual compassion? huh? Hey, if you were a post menopausal woman you'd

have to

be concerned about a beard too.

Finally! True empathy...

I too, have never shaved mine either. I think I was born with my

beard, you know?

So are you going to use a razor, or a shaver? That's going to be some

PRETTY tender skin under there.

Good luck with you surgery Bob. Or prayers go with you.

13 days and counting...
