Liz, this wedding sounds like something I would read in a novel! How beautiful! Did you take pictures? When I read you post I actually felt like I was there and could see everything you were describing. As far as the prednisone, I am cutting back to 2.5 because of the infection. Let me know how you do on this dose.

Sharon, it isn't " done " to take pictures at Saudi

weddings, they are very careful of their proavacy,

However one of the boys took some of us before we

left, and if I ever get them I will share,

Yes I have been following your problems with

interest(and sympathy!!) just post operation plus

infection is enough to upset your whole body - even if

you are not flaring!!! Can you take regular

anti-inflammatories to help when you are on low pred?

I find aleve or celebrex are the best for me. My

rheumy says it is fine for me to use them

occasionally. I am happy to say (quietly, in case the

demon of bad luck is listening, lol) I feel well at

the moment. My friends all notice because when I am

not well my voice is one of the first things to go.

Several people have remarked how well I sound. That

means no ear/nose/throat/chest pain/hoarseness or

breathing problems. I still have joint pain but that

is from damage already done and I can cope with that!!
