Please let me know if you will be contributing to save this treasure

of Elaine's advice.

If 30 people payed $10 and 10 people payed $20 then we will be able to

get the archives back up to load them into a website.

The SCD children's list, currently called " Pecanbread " was once named

" Elaine's Children " and was carried by the Lyris Listserve..

We were very fortunate to have Elaine's personal participation for some

time and received a treasure trove of her personal comments on a

number of SCD questions which can still be accessed via the excellent

Lyris search engine. We can still read Elaine's opinions regarding any

topic without registering to the Lyris list.

When we learned there were charges for every response to a post and had

to migrate to our current Yahoo location for financial reasons, a

generous member paid the accumulated bill in order that we might

continue to have access to the Elaine's Children archives.

Due to an oversight, unfortunately, no one payed the monthly dues which have

accumulated for about two years. Someone had offered to pay but forgot

to do it. We did not realize it until the list was shut down.

The possibility exists for us to archive the list contents elsewhere

and make it searchable. (If anyone wants to do this please notify us.)

However, we still need to pay the existing bill in order for us to

access the list in order to archive it.

The list archives must be copied onto a safe website in case

anyone ever accidentally deletes our current list or the Lyris list

serve goes out of

business. We will also want to keep the Elaine's Children List on its

original list serve for documentary reasons; it is concrete testimony to

the wonderful eficacy and safety of this amazing diet.

Immediate help is urgently required to save this treasure.

Hi there,

I live in Singapore and I have been following the forum for a few months

now even though we have not started on it. I have gained tremendous

knowledge from here and would hate it to be shut down due to funding

problem. I am happy to contribute USD50 as a way to say " Thank you " to

all the moderators and members who have helped in every way especially

Patti whom I have been emailing offlist for advice and encouragement.

Please let me know the tel no. of their office that I can call from

outside US and pls include country and area codes (the 888-number

probably can't be used overseas). Or is there any other way of paying

throught secured website or Paypal?

Is anyone tabulating the amount or is Dundee accepting every payment

received and rollover any excess? Sorry just being prudent here.

I have asked everyone who will contribute to let me know the amount

that they will pay. So far we are very short. We are only up to $100.

If we exceed the amount,then I will ask list members to pay Yahoo

Geocities for the Pecanbread website. I have been paying for it

forever and I have exceeded the amount that I have budgeted for SCD

activities.

Hi List Members,

We want to thank all the wonderful members who called to pay Dundee. We made

some progress. However,we still need about $300.

This is important. There are many topics discussed on that list that are not in

the books or on other websites. We have Elaine's comments regarding echinacea

and milk thistle...etc...

We also have Elaine's comments regarding unusual circumstances. What would

happen if your child needed some unusual treatment? This is your insurance that

the moderators can search for the right help. We need 30 parents to pay $10 or

15 parents to pay $20.
