I had 4 or 5 infusions of immunoglobuline ( I believe that's the same stuff),

during a bad spell about 18 months ago. Since I was taking pred and other

meds, in differing combinations and dosages, it's hard to be certain but I

and my rheumy believe it helped. My rheumy felt that infusions every 5 or 6

weeks would provide maximum benefit, but that the treatment would become less

effective by repeated use. Therefore, he wants to reserve it for use if my

symptoms become more serious again. Good luck.

It is good to hear from you. I'm glad to hear your RP is stable. I am not familiar with tha gammaglobulin treatments for RP. I do know my neighbor gets them because he has very little of an immune system. He says it does wonders for him.
