May I add my two cents worth. If the child/adult is exercising, then

the child/adult should replenish electrolytes, gatorate is good for

that. During the summer, when a was playing soccer, she would

sweat so much and have that all too familiar crusty salt around her

sweet face. So, she always had water, gatorade and a banana. But

other than that I encourage her to drink lots of plain water.
