Are you buy any chance using cinnamon? My daughter develops a skin

rash if she gets cinnamon on her skin. Jen

My hunch is that this rash is related to die-off, since she has only been on SCD

for a few days. Rashes are not uncommon.... as the bacteria are dying off and

the body detoxes via the skin. I would just try to give epsom salts baths to

encourage her body to flush out those toxins and treat the rash with whatever

common sense measures you would normally use to keep it clean and avoid

infection.

mild rash around mouth

hi,

my 2 years old daughter has been on the diet for a few days, in

addition to intro food, I introduced zuchini, she has a mild rash

around her mouth and on her cheeks, could this be allergic reaction to

eggs, she has been eating eggs a long time now, but I never gave her

more than 3 eggs a week (based on recomendation from her ped.) now she

is eating 2 eggs everyday for breakfast.

I would like to start calcium supplements, I don't give her any dairy

(I though I will start dairy free, then try it after a few months) she

weigh about 27 lbs, I have a supplement that provides 350 mg elemental

calcium citrate per tablet, how much should I give her?

thank you!

she has small red spots, today I noticed some of them have a tiny

white head, they appear to be worse in the morning and at night, she

doesn't eat eggs at night, but I give her the probiotic (scdophilus)

both morning and night.

I will try the epsom salts bath, if it is due to die-off, how long

will it take for it to clear?
