Can die off come as a delayed reaction? And, can it come in the form of

explosive D?

Just curious as I am experiencing the latter today and don't think that I

really have had much die off. Although I did have some constipation at the

very beginning of starting the SCD. Then things " got normal " . But, I

always have swung from one extreme to another.

Jazz, Constipation and diaharrea are two sides of the same coin. There is the

possibility

that it was caused by something you ate, by a flu bug or as you suspect..it is

die-off.

Hi Debbie,

Yes, die-off can happen very quickly. Some people experience it

during the intro. What happened with her definitely sounds familiar -

other kids have had similar experiences and it really makes sense if

you think about the yucky stuff leaving her body - it made her tired!

was exhausted when we started the diet, he gets that way after

die-off even now - just worn out.

Please keep a good eye on her, though. It's always possible they have

a bug of some sort - it's always hard to know for sure - and Elaine

always says, " if they are sick, take them to a doctor " . Let us know

how she's doing!
