Guest guest
Can die off come as a delayed reaction? And, can it come in the form of explosive D? Just curious as I am experiencing the latter today and don't think that I really have had much die off. Although I did have some constipation at the very beginning of starting the SCD. Then things " got normal " . But, I always have swung from one extreme to another. Jazz

There is the possibility that it was caused by something you ate, by a flu bug or as you suspect..it is die-off. This was posted on April 17... Hi Debbie, Yes, die-off can happen very quickly. Some people experience it during the intro. What happened with her definitely sounds familiar - other kids have had similar experiences and it really makes sense if you think about the yucky stuff leaving her body - it made her tired! was exhausted when we started the diet, he gets that way after die-off even now - just worn out. Please keep a good eye on her, though. It's always possible they have a bug of some sort - it's always hard to know for sure - and Elaine always says, " if they are sick, take them to a doctor " . Let us know how she's doing! son - 5yo soon, ASD, SCD one year+ Carol F.
