Guest guest
Congratulations Jane on opening up your own excercise place!! Wow!! just think how fit you will become. I am 3 months post-op and am a member of curves I was going for a while but because of servere complications with bone spurs on the backs of my heels I am now having to wear a soft cast trying to relieve the pressure on my Achilles tendon so I have had to drop out for at least 6 weeks hope to be able to return after that. Again Good luck on your business venture. Marie
Guest guest
Hi Robin: Just curious. Do you do something to get a heel spur, or does it just happen? Can you get a 'spur' in other parts of your body? Is it just like a sliver of bone that sticks out? Since your mom had it, maybe it's hereditary? Just thought you might know, don't trouble yourself if you don't. All the best, Judith in Seattle

I do believe you can get them in other parts of the body, but am not 100% sure of it. Sorry I'm not more help! ~Robin )

Dr. said the only thing they could do for them would be to remove them by surgery.
