Amy,

thanks again for taking time out of your busy schedule to talk to me. I am

diligently

working on my packet, making doctor appointments (I am dropping off the MGB

manual to my doc today), and I know that my Insurance has received my fax for

approval. Cross your fingers for me everyone...please!

Hi Amy,

I am estactic for you!!! Your news is great and very welcome right now. I

received a very discouraging email from a former strong advocate of this

procedure and also read a 6 month post of very poor weight loss. It is good

to hear good news!!

God bless, Ruqayya

Hi Amy So glad to get your post and that you are so positive. WhenI read

this post I called my husband in to read it because it sounded so similar to

myself. I went to a movie today with my husband and was out of breath just

trudging up the steps.

Wow Amy, That is great. I have 2 girls who are 13 and 16. My 13 year old

is so excited about this surgery because I told her next summer I would be

small enough to ride with her on all of the rides at the beach. She is

already talking about which rides we are going to get on first.

Is'nt that great! My son and I have made plans for next summer, too.

It is sad that many of us are not able to do the things that we would

like to do with the ones that we love the most because of our weight.

I feel so free now. I am only six weeks post-op, but already down 45

pounds. I feel so much better and am looking forward to the coming

summer for the first time in years. Hope you have your surgery soon.
