Hi Rhonda,

I went in front of the Cigna Grievance committee in No. Carolina. I

went to the hearing and had a lawyer represent me. I wish I could

give you some encourgement but I was still denied. As a matter of

fact the denial letter was written the same day at the meeting. I

couldn't believe they didn't take my comorbidities into

consideration. My policy clearly states an exclusion for WLS for

obesity. You may have a better chance than me since they are telling

you the criteria you need to meet. I now have a complaint into the

NC insurance commision. I am changing insurance in November and will

be able to proceed with a surgery in January. Good Luck,
