Being treated differently post-op.

I work with alot of men. Some would treat me like a pal,or slap my back(like

I was a horse) when they saw me. Some said " don't have the surgery, you're

fine the way you are " , some would act like I disgusted them. Now,the ones

that acted like I disgusted them, hold the door for me.....and you know what,I

go through sooooooooooooo slow and smile. Hope their arms hurt! The ones that

used to compliment me at my heaviest are the ones I would do anything

for(well almost,I'm happily married). My point being -take notice of who

treats you well now. Be selective about who you'll date. Find the one who

likes you for you. You will be the same person. Their reactions may change

,but that's their problem. Focus on yourself-give yourself permission to be

beautiful, and love it! Totally enjoy the transformation!

My 2 cents,

Osler

,

Thank you so much. I can't believe how much you said in your story

correlates to what I experience everyday. I am truely excited that I will

lose this weight dont get me wrong, but it is hard sometimes to know that

the only thing holding you back is a couple pounds (to put it

lightly:))Thank you for sharing with me it makes me feel as if someone can

truely understand where I am coming from. When was your surgery? How much

weight have you lost? Please keep in touch :)
