Guest guest
Marilyn, thanks for the reminder on the exercise money. I will be sending my check to Miss Heidi. I went to the dollar store yesterday and found some one pound weights. I bought 2. One for each hand. LOL As soon as I can, I'm going to start with these old arms and tighten them up. LOL I have great visions for the rest of the year. !! You are so right about exercise being a big part of our health. It is so hard for me, and I must really force myself. I can only do small things now, but every little bit helps. Just make sure you have your drs. approval. Thanks again Marilyn. I hope your slump is almost over. I'm feeling GREAT today. hugs
Guest guest
Hi Marilyn, I will participate again. I think it was a great idea. Does anyone know yet how much this endeavor raised? Guest guest
Marilyn, thanks for doing this for the Foundation. I know how much work it takes to keep up with eveyone. Okay, I have missed alot of posts, so tell me when did the last exercise group start. LOL I will put my change in for all the days I didn't exercise. Everyone is welcome to join in this effort to get us all exercising and to help make some money for the Foundation. It is tax deductable and will help you feel better too. Just drop some change in a jar every time you exercise (or in my case, when I don't). LOL After my surgery, I will be doing a lot of exercising. I have a treadmill coming this week from my girlfriend. The surgeon said I will be on it many times a day. I don't walk her in the summer, it is suppose to be 108 this week. LOL Last time at towards the end of the exercise program, I found Rich emptying his extra change in the jar. So get your whole family involved. Marilyn, you keep us updated and tell us how much longer we have. We will post as to how we are doing exercise wise. I think this is a great program for us all. Any challenges out there????? hugs
Guest guest
Hi All, Hope lots of newcomers to the group will join in our exercise group to raise money for RP research. Every three months we add up the change and send a check to . The first three months ended in May so the second session will be over with the end of August. I hope everyone will try and participate. Even if you don't exercise. Just toss your change from the grocery store, etc., into a jar and save it up for the research fund. We can find a cause and a cure for RP if we can raise enough money to encourage doctors and researchers to get involved. Take care everyone. It's going to be a hot day here but I plan to turn on the A/C and bake a Blueberry Crumb Cake. That should really be good for my blood sugar levels. Right????? LOL Marilyn
