I have gone through two cheapo hand blenders.... and my third one is on it's

last legs. I am saving my pennies for a Bamix. I've heard great things about

them.

So I guess it is giving up the ghost and needs to be replaced.

I'm just hoping to hear from any of you who have a good one, if you'd care to

recommend your brand (and model number if you know it).

I have seen the Bamix demonstrated onTV and wanted it in the old days to whip

skim milk.

It seems to have more functions than I need personally but it has a high rating.
