Guest guest
Tammy - Thanks so much......this helped almost more than anything knowing that I'm not alone in this. If you wouldn't mind, I would love to talk to you more off-line, say instant messaging or private email. I'd like to know more specifics about your symptoms and tests you've had and how your doctors have been proceeding with this. What area of the country are you in? Hope to hear from you....you can email me privately at she_remembers@... or instant message (but let me know first via email) at the same address. thanks > Hi . Please know that you are not alone. Hang > it there, OK? Tammy M. You know I hate it when Doctors think that this disease is only for Drunks and im not one.. let me tell you for years and years doctors blew me off saying that im to young for this and that its Gastritis and things like that or that I was Drug seeking.. I mean i would go to the E.R. with a 9 or 10 pain scale and be in alot of pain and ask for something and they would give it to me but then when the labs come back they would say i dont know what your talking about your labs are fine they are normal and it would piss me off and actually hurt me, I would make them call my GI doctor at the time and he would admit me for a few weeks rest the tummy meds and relax and get better but to hear them talking that im lying and making it up i just feel like saying that I wish you could be in my shoes for 24 hours and then see who is drug seeking or faking it. about 2 years or so ago I got the golden test to see what it was and sure enough it was Chonic Pancreatitis and they upped my meds and said im sorry so whenever i go and see a new doctor i bring that paper that says it.but its very frusterating for people to think that you are making it up and that your drug seeking .. I need a good GI doctor that will stick by me and when i say doc i need to be admitted he will admit me not say oh well um umm.. I mean my case is very hard and difficult and i have had many GI doctors blow me off. I mean I had one 3 weeks ago that said Oh i think that you should go back to your Old GI doctor there is nothing that I can do. My advise to you is dont let them wait and wait because it will be to late and you will be in a mess like me its too late for surgery my panc is way to damaged dont let them tell you its nothing... cheer up i can tell you this site i mean im new only a few days but i am very happy to be with people like me.. thanks GIO
