Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know how I am doing at the six week postop mark. I just returned from my PCP and I have lost 27 lbs. Not a lot compared to a lot of you, but at least it's not a gain. I have had no problems at all. I can eat anything I want with no problems. I don't eat a lot of meat because I find it fills me up with just a couple of bites, so I choose other foods that I can eat a little more of. I eat vegetables, pasta, rice, fruits. I have probably at least tried a little of anything you can think of. I try things just to see if I can eat it. (May explain my slow loss.) My PCP did insist that I resume my blood pressure meds. since it was really high. He said after I drop another twenty or thirty lbs. we sill see about stopping it again. He was really pleased with my weight loss and how well I'm doing overall. I think he is really impressed with the procedure. He couldn't believe my surgery was only 35 minutes. How about you other August 2 littermates? How are you doing? Good luck to all you preops. I hope it happens for you soon. It is the best thing I have ever done for myself. I would do it again today if needed. Thank you all for your support and information on this group. It has been so much easier because of you. Guest guest
Cindy, I lived in Eden for 31 years (my whole life) before moving here to Fayetteville 3 years ago. It is a wonderful place and I love the area. I go back home to visit my family every once in awhile. Joni hsmotherof4@... wrote: > Hi Joni!! Guest guest
Joni, Like you I am new but everyone makes you feel welcome. I didn't think I would find someone else from Seattle. I am hoping to have my surgery the first week of December. >From: florence@... >Reply-To: MiniGastricBypass (AT) egroups (DOT) com >To: MiniGastricBypass (AT) egroups (DOT) com >Subject: RE: Joni >Date: 27 Oct 2000 20:37:06 -0500 > >Welcome Joni.
