Sharyn,

I have had flares in my left wrist. My rheumy never said it wasn't RP. I sure felt like an RP flare that is for sure. I look at it this way. I remember looking at a skeleton when I was a kid in school. It didn't have a place where the nose, ears or ribs and cartilage between the joints were. RP will effect the cartilage and cartilage like cells.(yes another one of Glenda's tech words) Maybe someone else will have a better way of putting this.

Take care

Lots of love

Glenda

Well as I said I asked my Rheumy about the hip thingy...he didn't think RP had

anything to do with it, but dang...every joint in my dman body hurts...And they

are not going to tell me that joints " don't " have

cartilage. Know reading up about RP there was one report that stated we all as

babies start with our bones being cartilage...Now personall I know I'm not a

stupid person...but the chemical or gene compound of cartilage shouldn't change

when it turns to bone. I look at it like water turning to ice...it was liquid,

now it's solid. Cartilage in flexible...bone is solid..go figure right?
