It takes a special person to see beyond themselves. I'm glad you are doing

something with your talent and reaching out to others. Just keep " Blessing "

others and what goes around will come around. Thanks for sharing. It's great to

hear good news too.

People have helped me all my life, in one way or another.

So, like the homeless guy wcf, whom I got into a board and

care home, I was just happy and relieved--I mean at least he

did not run away--and I had no doubt, really clubbed fingers,

and high shoulders.

The thing is, it just happens to me. I now live in an apartment house--never

had done that before. The first

person to welcome me was my friend with the cat, !

Well, guess who makes sure she takes her pills every day?

You guessed right--my expertise: pill taking, counting, label

reading, etc. But I just adore my neighbor who can recite

poetry forever--I mean how many people actually do know the title of the poem,

and all of it, that ends " the captain of

my soul? " She can do all of Evangeline, too.

And my formerly homeless friend, now in the board and care

home, which he really likes, is a former student of chemistry; well, it IS hard

when one had nothing in common!

When I was a kid and one kid bully another, I tricked the

bully into falling--wasn't hard on the ice in Michigan! Comes

of being a lawyer's daughter, I guess.

I think that if one does not do what one can for others--be

they your kids, your neighbors, your friendsm, your friends'

kids, life would be rather boring.

Of course I tell the Telephone company, the Internet Service

Company off on a regular basis--no qualms about that!

I surely do appreciate those on line who remember the homeless guy with cf whom

I got into a home where he now

has enough food, washed clothes, outings, and I even get to

dine out with him on occasion. I think I am the winner!

Love to all coping with cf and life in general,

n Rojas

n,

You are so right! When I do something to help someone else, I get

more out of it than they do. I just makes me feel so much better.

If I am depressed, doing something for someone else helps cheer me up.

Love,

Gale
