Guest guest
Oh gracious, I do so hope she will start feeling better soon. I will keep you all in my special wishes LOVE & HUGS, grandmoMBEV Has anybody used Levaquin 500 mg before? Hello everybody, Monday night we got back from a trip. While on our trip a noticed that when she ran she got tired, which is unusual for her. Then monday she started coughing, she coughed yesterday then when I picked her up at school she said she did not feel good at all and asked me to take her to the doctor. I called the doc and he said bring her in right away. Well, a said she had too much homework to wait until the morning. This morning I took her and her O2 was 95 and her pfts were the lowest ever, not including diagnosis time. She has been put on Levaquin 500 mg, Tobi, and, and the one that I hate very much Prednisone, she is on Zithromax. I doubt that I will give her the prednisone, but does anybody have any comments on Levaquin? The weird thing is that her lungs are cleared but she does have a runny nose. Coughing has been dry but when we did the vest this morning she had some mucus, I have not been able to get a good sample, I am going to try tonight. He mentioned if by next week she has not improved, she is going on IV's which scared the heck out of her, she has never been on IV's antibiotic or hospitalized. Well any help is greatly appreciated. Guest guest
Hi , has been on Levaquin a few times and it has worked well for her with no apparent side effects. But generally has good luck with antibiotics, she isn't allergic to any except possibly Pediazole which she never needs anyway. I hope it works for a and she doesn't need IV's. love, M mom of Nick age 21 nocf and age 19 wcf PS I would go ahead and give her the prednisone if that is what the doctor ordered. Guest guest
Christian has used Levaquin 500 mg many times, the doctors use it to treat things that they don't know what they are. The first time was after his surgery last year and was prescribed by an " infectious disease " doctor. I hope this might help. He actually has been on this medicine a couple times.
