Guest guest
Our son, after 14 weeks in his StarBand, has graduated!!! With a bit of a rockie start with an ill fitting helmet and a lot of red spots and blisters, our little trooper made it through. He is now 9 months old and living the " free " life. Our Neuro and Ortho said he could have been done about 3 weeks ago but we wanted to give it just a little bit longer to try and get as much correction as we could (I don't want him to be mad at us when he is 15 and wants to shave his head and can't). With much consideration and thought, my husband and I decided to Gradutate him!! His measurements 3 weeks ago stated that his head was symmetrical but I could still see a little flat spot (but I'm the mom and can notice everything). I am so glad that we did this banding, our son will thank us when he gets older! I want to thank everyone here for all of their support and encouragement, not only to me but to others as well. I haven't posted much, just a few questions here and there but I do read all the post that come through and everyone is so helpful! Thank you:) Amy, Bryson's (9 mo old) Mom 14 weeks in StarBand Graduated 9/19/
