Just a heads up to all you pre-ops about Duke Towers. It is full of

long term " ricers " so if you want to be around other Dr. R pre-ops

your probably better off somewhere else. There is a doctor in Durham

who originated the Duke rice diet (rice and fruit only). His clinic

is across the street from Duke Towers which is why most of his

patients (who are there between one and 12 months) stay there. When I

was in Structure House in Durham we referred to his patients as " rice-

heads " because they lost weight but were soooooo irritable!

Sorry Margaret. It was a reference to who has been

posting some rather disturbing emails to this group. Its nothing you

need to worry about! Please email me if you want more info. I don't

really want to add any more fuel to the fire by going into it here.
