I am doing GREAT...Sunday is my birthday( I'll be 45) and am looking forward

to my rebirth!!! My family and I talk a great deal about the MGB and are

busy reading all we can find. I am working on my patient letter, family on

their letter(s) and thanking God for what is GOING TO HAPPEN..My doctor is

" gun-ho " for this..Oct 2 we are being switched to Wellpath insurance. That's

why I haven't done much else. All hopsitals have been cooperative and

helpful in securing the copies of records from surgeries. My GYN_OB wanted

to charge me $10.oo for the 1st page and $1.00 per page afterward. Wow! I

was hopping mad. So, I asked my PCP to request the records. The GYN_OB

office will send the records to him free of charge. Well, I guess it is a

blessing in disguise as then I will have all the Dr records in one place and

the PCP can have them copied for my packet for Dr. R.

I went to a teacher appreciation day at our local Wal-Mart and won a gift

certificate of $25.00. I bought something lacey " for the future " .

How are you others doing with your patient letters? My husband and I had a

long talk today and I cried the most I've cried since my folks passed. I am

grateful for the experience but it has been revealing and difficult.

Hope everyone has a pleasant weekend! Inga in NC

Hey! It's my Birthday too! I am 36 years old today. All my birthdays

since I had my first baby... at 18, have been spent in desperation because

of my weight... always going up. I even felt guilty to eat a piece of my

own birthday cake!!! Of course it never stopped me. But this is the first

year I have hope. With all my weight related problems I didn't think I

would make it out of my 30's alive. I just lost my 35 year old cousin last

year with a heart attack. We were raised like Bro & Sis. Even though I am

fighting with BCBS I still have hope of seeing my 4 children have children.

Please pray for me that BCBS will approve me or I can find some other means

of financing.

God Bless all of the group

My prayers are with you Jackie!!! I also am praying that sometime in the

future that these Insurance companies are finally going to get it and approve

everyone on the first go round instead of all this long drawn out fighting

with them!!!!!
