Shaelin's surgery and adoption update

Hi everyone,

Shaelin had his sinus surgery today and all went well. We were

supposed to stay over one night but since we were the first case and

there were no complications, we were discharged. YEAH! We had 32

inches of snow over the weekend and had to dig out again this morning

to be at the hospital at 6 am for a 7:30 OR time and I am thoroughly

looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight. Shaelin is

already asleep and hopefully will stay that way.

On the adoption front, things are getting closer. Hopefully we will

be finalizing his adoption within the next 3-4 months! We have had

him as a foster child for over 2 years with the hope from the

beginning of adopting him and now that dream will hopefully become a

reality. Thanks to everyone for all of your support with this. I

will keep you all posted.

My Christmas wish is that Shaelin becomes " legally " your son very

soon. I know that he is already your son in every other way.

You are a very special family and Shaelin is SO LUCKY. " Someone "

must have brought you together.
