Guest guest
I've noticed over the past couple of weeks that iel has been kind of giggly. Sometimes it seems like nothing, or nothing that should be that funny. He has had some dietary infractions. However, we've been chelating, doing ot, and also doing aba. We've seen some drastic improvements in the past three weeks in behavior and communication. He's able to have little conversations now, and has been doing silly things that he's never done like laughing at himself making reflections in the mirror or just acting silly. He's nearly three and a half now, but he seems to finally be acting more like a two to three year old. All this is to say that I'd like some opinions on the giggles. Since we have had some infractions, should I go back to the intro for a few days, or just not worry about it. I haven't seen any gi or behavior issues that would even make me question that I need to do some die off except the giggles. Like I said, I'm not even sure that they are from the illegals that he ate, or just him actually acting like a little boy. I only question it because I know that others have commented about their kids laughing at nothing at all. In the past, I knew that an illegal had affected him, or even a food that he just wasn't ready for, because he had sleep issues or extreme irritability. I know that it can't hurt to do a few days of intro, but I wanted to see if any of you veterans really think that it's necessary, or if I'm overreacting. Thanks. Guest guest
Meleah, I think I would just try to forge ahead right now... since you are also seeing other improvements... and just try to eliminate any chances for infractions. I'm glad to hear he's doing so well! Patti Giggles I've noticed over the past couple of weeks that iel has been kind of giggly. Sometimes it seems like nothing, or nothing that should be that funny. Guest guest
Sounds like yeast to me. Chelation stirs up yeast even while you're on the SCD diet. Grapefruit seed extract works well for my son. I give him 3 drops a day right now. When my son has yeast issues, he gets really silly and does not sleep well.
