Guest guest
Ann has had rp for several years and now has a narrow floppy trachea . She is going through a bad spell of almost continuous coughing ( much clear mucous - no infection ). She is on 12.5 of pred ,a steroid inhaler,17.5 Methotrexate and some blood pressure tablets. She is not get major flares but has hotness and tinnitus most nights. Her doctors tried a spell of more pred and 6 weeks of antibiotics ; there was some improvement but now back where she was. We don't think it is environment triggered ( it happens in all conditions and weathers ). We are a bit stuck ( Ann has tried 5 or 6 immunosuppressants ) and we suspect her doctors are too.Anyone got any bright ideas ? My prostate cancer seems to under control and I start a spell of radiotherapy next week Chester, England IMPORTANT NOTICE: This email is confidential, may be legally privileged, and is for the intended recipient only. Guest guest
, It is always so good to hear from you. Congratulation on your report on your cancer. I wish I had some input for Ann. I don't have any problems with coughing. I know you will get some input from those that do. Just know that I'm thinking of you both. Tell Alice Hi for me. Hope she is doing well. Keep us posted as to how you and Ann are both doing. hugs
